Frozen banana slices are great for making smoothies.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Add your sliced bananas then place in the freezer. Once frozen, remove the bananas from the parchment paper and place into a ziplock baggie or covered bowl for future use. Store in the freezer.
For smoothies; add a handful of frozen bananas to a blender. You can add other fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, mango, peaches, oranges.
You could toss in a few dates, nuts, cacao powder or avocado; the flavor combos are endless! Add a small amount of plant based milk and mix until desired consistency.
* The riper your bananas are before freezing the sweeter the smoothie.
