Welcome to the food recipe side of oSimplicity. 

My thoughts when creating this space was to use ingredients that support an anti-inflammatory lifestyle. 

Chronic inflammation within the body is tied to health issues such as auto immune disease, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, alzheimer's, skin issues, inflammatory bowel disease, digestive issues, cancers, the list goes on and on.

A few examples of foods that create chronic inflammation within the body are: 

processed meat

sugar-sweetened beverages such as soda, bottled or canned tea drinks, and sports drinks

margarine and shortenings 

dairy

gluten 

processed foods, including sugar 

artificial colors and flavorings 


A few examples of foods that decrease chronic inflammation within the body are:

fruits

vegetables 

nuts

legumes

beans

quinoa

basil

cilantro
